VetIMPRESS: Compatible Devices

When it comes to the best device to use with VetIMPRESS, we don’t have any preference between iOS or Android but sticking with the main manufacturers (Apple or Samsung) is advisable. The most important thing is making your device farm proof which means the case is key!

Here are some of our recommendations for rugged devices and compatible cases suitable for use on-farm;

Apple Devices

Device: iPad Air (3rd gen)

64GB is fine because our app doesn’t take up much space.
WiFi only is fine as our app is an offline app and syncs when back at WiFi or tethered to a phone hotspot.

Samsung Devices

Samsung ‘Rugged Range’ has an impressive range of farm proof devices, that come in a hardwearing and waterproof case.

The Galaxy Tab Active 2 is very popular with our users. It’s big brother the Galaxy Tab Active Pro is newer to the market and the 10.1 inch screen provides a spacious canvas to get things done.

There are some other more mainstream Samsung Galaxy tablets like the Tab A that are competitively priced but will need a separate case, such as the robust Armour-X range.
